Our policies

Reservation Policy


To rent an accommodation or a room, you must be at least 21 years old and you must be present during the stay. An ID piece could be asked as a proof during the registration.

When booking a reservation, 30% of the total amount before taxes will be billed. The rest of the amount will be charged upon arrival.

A refundable deposit of a 150$ is required. This amount must be available on a credit card and will be required upon arrival when you receive your keys. If a credit card is non-available, this amount must be paid cash and will be refunded during check out if nothing is broken in the room.


Accepted paiment methods

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American express), debit card and cash are also accepted.


Check-in and check-out time

Check-in:
Between 2pm and 5pm

Check-out:

Between 8am and 11am

If you are planning to arrive outside those hours, you can tell us by calling 418-342-1111 or toll free 1-877-342-7933, we will explain what you need to do to get the keys.

Cleaning

The units are cleaned after the client’s check-out. During your stay, you are responsible for your accommodation cleanliness.


Towels and other accessories are not replaced by our staff. You can change the towels at the reception desk during the business hours.

On check-out time we ask you to:

  • Take out the trash and the recyclable material and put them in the appropriate     bins near the reception office or near your accommodation.
  • Wash and put back all the dishes and utensils (50$ fee)
  • Set the temperature to 18 degrees Celsius.


Cancel Policy

More than 30 days before your stay
The deposit is totally refunded.

Less than 30 days before the stay
The deposit is kept as a penalty.

48 hours and less before the stay
The total amount of the stay is required.


Site policies


Tobacco Policy

It is strictly prohibited to smoke in our our units, reception rooms, Nordic baths and Health Center.

A 500$ fee will be charged on the credit card of the violator.


Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is permitted only in the accommodation units. It is prohibited on the site and the nordic baths areas.

However, licenses can be used for special occasions such as office party or group retreat.

*We keep ourselves the right to take action in case of excessive alcohol consumption that interfere with other users experience.


Animals

Animals are permitted on the site, but not inside our facility (reception rooms, accommodations, Health Center).


Curfew

To maintain a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, there is a curfew at 11pm. We ask for your collaboration to respect the peacefulness of the place. Additional fees could be charged on your credit card for excessive noise, racket or other disturbances.

Health Center and Nordic baths reservation policy


Nordic baths access is included if you book your reservation on our website. Massages or other Health Center treatments fees are not included in the accommodation fees excepted if you purchased a package.

For the Nordic baths, bring: a towel, a tuque if it is winter, sandals, bathing suit and a water bottle. A bathrobe is not compulsory, you can bring your own or rent one for a 10$ plus taxes fee.


Health Center Cancel policy

More than 24 hours before the appointment
Nothing is charged

Less than 24 hours before the appointment
The total amount of the reservation is charged.

Damages and inconvenients

When confirming the reservation, the client accepts the responsibility for any damages or missing items, examples: missing key 10$, phone charges, premises damages, unreasonable harm to the neighbors, etc. The client also commits to pay extra charges to clean back the units. The client authorizes Chalets et Spa Lac-Saint-Jean to use the credit card to charge extras caused by any damages or inconvenients cited in this paragraph.
